Materials & jewelry production
All jewelry is produced by Vrooman design studios in Asheville, NC. To the very best of our knowledge, the diamonds, gemstones and recycled metals that we use come from reputable companies that supply ethically sourced and environmentally responsible materials.
Purchasing & order info
To order any of the jewelry on this site, contact us by email or phone at (828) 252-4776. We accept most major credit cards including Visa and MasterCard. Vrooman Designs jewelry is also available at authorized locations across the country. Please check our store directory for locations.
Packaging & shipping
Each item will arrive beautifully packaged in a gift box and/or soft pouch for storage. Orders are usually shipped USPS first class insured, though other carriers are available on request. Shipping and handling charges are calculated based on delivery method, weight and insurance value. For orders shipped within North Carolina, a sales tax of 7% will apply.
Returns
If for any reason you are not satisfied, we accept returns of unused, undamaged merchandise for a refund within 14 days of receipt, provided the merchandise is accompanied by your original receipt. However, custom orders which include design variations and ring sizing’s are nonrefundable and nonreturnable.
Returned items must be in new condition and shipped prepaid. We are not responsible for loss or damage of returned items; please package securely and insure accordingly. Once the returned item is received, we will provide a credit for the amount of the item, minus any original shipping charges. Custom orders
I very much enjoy working with clients to create a custom piece to your personal tastes. For more detailed information about the process, please check the “custom work” link. Custom orders include ring sizing and any designs that differ from those shown on this website. Upon placement of your custom order, a deposit of 50% of the total purchase price will be charged to your credit card. The balance plus shipping and insurance will be charged upon shipment of your jewelry. Please note that all custom orders are nonrefundable and nonreturnable. Custom ring sizing and made-to-order pieces generally run from 4 to 6 weeks, but please call for details.
Repairs & resizing
If your jewelry requires any periodic refurbishment, whether resizing, repairing or restringing, we highly recommend that you send it to us, as special techniques are used to craft Vrooman Designs jewelry to achieve our signature look.
To have your jewelry re-sized or repaired, contact us via email at: vroomandesigns@att.net or call (828) 252-4776. We will answer any questions and provide return shipping instructions. Please note that we do not accept packages without a return authorization. All ring sizing’s are nonreturnable and nonrefundable.
Care & cleaning
We recommend storing your jewelry in the pouch provided, as this helps to protect the finish from any unwanted scratches. After wearing for several weeks or months, jewelry develops a patina unique to the wearer. While not necessary, it is possible to periodically refinish your Vrooman Designs jewelry. A soft toothbrush and solution of one cup of warm water and a few drops of mild dish-washing liquid takes care of most dirt and oils.
General maintenance basics
Avoid chlorine in hot tubs or pools, as it is corrosive to precious metals. Avoid ultrasonic cleaners or leave their use to a professional jeweler, since some stones can be damaged when cleaned ultrasonically. Avoid exposing your jewelry to sunscreen, hairspray, perfume, makeup, lotions, harsh cleaning solutions and other chemicals. As a precaution, remove rings when gardening, lifting weights or similar activities that involve a lot of pressure on the hands. Should a piece receive a particularly hard blow, gently tap the top of each stone to ensure its security. Should a clicking noise or looseness be discovered, have the stones checked by a jeweler before resuming wear.
Oxidized silver
Applied patinas such as oxidation or antiquing, while durable, are surface treatments. Keep in mind that exposure to skin acidity, perfumes, lotions, sunscreen and cleaning solutions can affect the patina of oxidized silver.
Privacy policy
Any personal information you provide is kept confidential and will not be used for any purpose other than to help serve you better. The personal information entered at our website will never be sold or otherwise distributed to any company or marketing firm.

If you provide your email address, we will periodically send you information about new designs, promotions and trunk shows. Of course, you may opt out of receiving these emails at any time.
